Gerstman Group Hires Industry Veteran Steve White as Director of E-Commerce Sales

Gerstman Group, the Garden City, NY-based retail sales and service firm, is proud to announce that Steve White has joined the company as Director of E-Commerce Sales. In this position, which is based in Atlanta, GA, he will be responsible for driving the sales of products from manufacturers represented by Gerstman Group into the dot com channel, a $135.0 billion marketplace in 2009. White will focus on obtaining placements for products on websites such as Amazon.com, HomeDepot.com, Sears.com, CSNStores.com, ivgStores.com and a variety of other Internet-only and brick & mortar retailer websites. In addition, he will bring new manufacturers into the Gerstman Group portfolio with the same mission. White most recently ran his own E-commerce sales agency, representing manufacturers in the home channel industry to both Internet-only and brick & mortar retailer websites. Prior to establishing his agency, he was President and Partner for over 18 years at Triple-S Marketing Group, a company that provided sales and service to national and regional home center retailers. “Gerstman Group is excited to have Steve join our organization, especially considering the synergy between our traditional brick & mortar capabilities and his e-commerce expertise,” says Dan Gerstman, President of Gerstman Group. “In addition to bringing many of our existing manufacturers to the e-commerce retailers he works with, Steve has extensive relationships that are sure to grow Gerstman Group’s manufacturer roster and its ability to offer additional services in both the brick & mortar and e-commerce arenas.”
